I first started working on my own properties over 30 years ago while employed as a general machinist. As I took on more odd jobs, they eventually evolved into a full-time handyman business. Along the way, I met several landlords and noticed that some of their renovations had been executed poorly. I often ended up redoing these projects, leading me to start quoting jobs as a contractor. This eventually led me to opening my own business, Handy Renovation.

While operating as a contractor, I was also working as a property manager. I would do everything from cutting grass to building decks, and even collecting rent for the landlords. Juggling three jobs and taking on too much work eventually made me realize where my true passion lies: as a contractor, helping people transform their spaces.
